Fruit Juicer Products

Is juicing really as healthy as it is claimed to be?
I've been reading some information on juicing your own fruits and veggies and it seems interesting. However, I am skeptical. Is it really as healthy as it is claimed to be? Wouldn't it be healthier to eat the carrot/spinach/etc and drink water than juice it? I cannot seem to find much information on how much nutrition is being removed when you take out the pulp; most information I can find is geared toward trying to sell people the juicers and juicing products.
Anyone have any info on this?
Almost all the nutrients will go into the juice, esp. if it's a good juicer; you should be able drink the equivalent of 5x or 10x the amount of fruit & veg vs. eating them whole.
Fiber is not digested as a nutrient but passes through you and helps keep your GI tract healthy. You can still eat several servings of fruit & veg a day to get enough fiber, and supplement it with a few cups of juice for the extra vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals.

This model is only for juicing citrus juices like oranges and lemons. NOT for pears, apples or carrots.
Sorry, Charley!
