Whatever, it's a pain killer. It's highly hypocritical to say its ok to take one thing and not the other. Some of these athletes are so hopped up on pain killers that they could not even play with out them, just look at the NFL. A lot of those guys can't practice during the week then all the sudden a couple of cortisone shots, IV's, and pain killers later they are ready to play on Sunday. If Xylocaine didn't do anything and help whoever takes it, then guess what, nobody would take it, so obviously it does something. Clean is clean.

ralph, have you tried doing the heavybag? obviously i think not. but i will tell you.
even with those padded gloves and wraps it is still very painful when youre hitting the bag. the wrist area and the knuckle felt sored and everytime you rotate your hands you feel the stinging sensation.
xylocaine is NOT a ped, yes. indeed.
after doing the heavybag, you dont wanna hit anything anymore, so, by injecting an anesthetic "drug"…you wont feel any discomfort. you can punch harder numerous times without a problem.
now tell me about the "fair playing field".
