I am looking for a good juicer... I was reading that the best juicers have a 2 step processs (grind then press). I've heard that the very best juicer is called a Norwalk which cost over 2000.00. I'm definately not willing to pay that kind of money for a juicer. I just want to add raw foods to my families lifestyle. I am willing to pay at least 500.00 for one if it is a great quality. I would prefer something that is pretty simple to assemble, maintain, and clean. I would also like something with a large spout (if that is even what it is called). Please let me know of your experiences with juicers. Thanks in advance.
I have a Jack LaLanne juicer (which I only paid $100 for back in 2007) and enjoy it just fine. Clean up is not too bad especially if you put a plastic grocery bag into the pulp-catching container. If I had any complaints it would be that you can't juice a banana (but I'm not sure you can in any juicer....save for maybe that $2000 one you mentioned LOL). And the spout is low so I have to use short glasses and pour the juice into the pitcher as I'm going.
