Juicer Canning Recipes
Poll...Which of these juicing recipes sounds like the best one to serve?

1. tomato, celery, and ginger, one garlic clove!
2. carrot, celery, pear

I have a juicer, and want to make a nice juice for company!!!!
I can't decide which one to make..........what sounds best, one or two?

I have one too...Best stuff in the world
They both sound great and I have had both of them also...But I will tell you that #2 is the best for company.I think so any way
Funny because when my neighbor comes over for some juice she comes up with that silly idea of wondering how it would taste with a splash of Vodka or rum!!
I make a lot of Bloody Mary's with my juicer in the summer its a hit I tell ya and boy does every one love it
There are days at the beach we start off with a good old Bloody Mary with a kick..Not a big kick but one any way!!!!!......LOL

How can I fast without owning a juicer?

I really want to do a three to five day juice fast before i go to the beach. Is there anyway I can actually do this without a juicer? I have a good blender...but are you supposed to have all that fiber and everything when you're fasting?

Also if you have any cool recipes, I'd love to have them :)

All these quick diets are dangerous to your health. Take a longer time and you will be healthier.

Dieting doesn't work. Here's what you do:

First, get smaller plates. Most dinner plates these days are huge.

Next, plate your food as follows, 1/2 the plate vegetables, 1/4 protein, 1/4 carbohydrates. Fruit on the side or for snack.

Eat less, and more often. Instead of three big meals, three small meals with three snacks in between.

Shop in the outer sections of the supermarket. That's where the healthy foods are. The junk is in the middle.

Read the labels.

Go for items with higher dietary fiber. If you eat pasta, get whole wheat pasta. It has more fiber, plus I think it tastes better.

Fats: You need them to process vegetables, so don't cut them out. Besides they help make many things taste better. Just cut way back. Also check and make sure the are unsaturated fats. That will help your cholesterol levels. The fats you want are usually the ones that are liquid at room temperature, but completely avoid trans fats. Trans fats are near liquid, but they are saturated fats and are REALLY bad for you.

DO NOT CUT OUT SWEETS. By trying to cut them completely, you end up binging on them, then regretting it later.

When you eat carbs, have some protein with them. That keeps your blood sugar levels even. Even if your not diabetic, your blood sugar levels can still fluctuate and cause problems.

Condiments such as mayonnaise and butter. Do not use the light or low-fat varieties. Just learn to use less. That way, if you go out and the light variety is not available, you're used to to it and don't go overboard.

If you do binge, do not get discouraged and go back to old habits. Say "oh well, tomorrow's a new day," and get back on that horse.

Walk every day, at least twenty minutes. Not a casual stroll, but a determined walk.

Realize that this is a life change, not a diet. Diets don't work.

I don't think this will have any effect in removing the smell but you can still try and find out yourself.

The other way around is to stop your dog from doing it. I assume that you have not trained your dog and the only way to stop this in future is to house train him so that he does not do it again. There are many books available that will teach you how it is done at home without taking your dog to a training class. I was also stuck with the same problem in the past but I made use of a dog training guide that my friend gave me. Although it has a lot more but I only used it for making the dog eliminate outside.

If you do not like to take psyllium (a natural fiber that you can mix with water or add to food) and taking liquid chlorophyl ( a natural extract of what makes plants green, cleanses the body and tonifies the blood) then I suggest you eat a lot if high fiber foods including lots of raw, green veggies especially Kale and cabbage. In general, eat 5 to 7 servings of vegetables and fruit each day, More veggies than fruit and more raw than cooked.

Eat plenty of whole grains. If you think you are eating whole wheat bread, check the label, if it has white flour in it, it is not whole wheat bread. Grains like old fashioned whole oats not quick oats, brown rice and wild rice, not quick rice or white rice. millet, amaranth, quinoa, barley, etc…

Nuts abd cooked dried beans. Read labels, look on the internet for fiber content of foods and count your fiber grams to insure you get 100% of the recommended 20 to 25 grams daily.
