Juicer Carrot Juice Recipe
Ideas for Juicing recipes?
I have a juicer, currently I've tried a few juices, obviously orange, grape w/apple, carrot w/celery & apple, I usually add apple to add some sweetness to the drink. Any other suggestions? I would love to have some new ones I'm board with mine.
make mixed berry juice mix red berries raspberries strawberries and a little mango juice already mixed

just got Jack lalane juicer and don't know what to do with 5lbs worth of carrot pulp?
I just got my juicer for my bday and juiced 5lbs of carrots but now I don't know what to do with all that carrot pulp? Does anyone know any recipes? Is there a way that I can get recipes of the Jack Lalane website? I tried but couldn't find any recipes for the pulp?

I used to buy a carrot raisin salad at a health food store and from looking at the carrot part, I think they used the carrot pulp from making carrot juice. It was my favorite salad.

The cake below is delicious.
Carrot Cake (with buttermilk) – Jane's recipe
3 c flour
2 tsp b soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs
3/4 c veg oil
3/4 c buttermilk
2 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
2 c grated carrots
3 1/2 oz flaked coconut
1 c chopped walnuts
1 c raisins (optional)
Sift first 4 ingredients together. Set aside
Beat eggs, add oil, buttermilk, sugar and vanilla. Mix well
Add dry ingredients to egg mixture, mix well
Add pineapple, nuts, coconut and raisins if used
Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 pan (buttered and floured)
Bake @ 350 F. for 55 minutes
FROSTING:
2 c sugar
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 c buttermilk
1 cube of butter
1 Tbsp white corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
Add all to a small saucepan and heat slowly until butter and sugar are incorporated and mixture bubbles. Stir to mix well. Pour over hot cake when it comes from the oven.

Sunset Salad
1 package (6 oz.) Jello Orange gelatin
1 tsp salt
2 cups boiling water
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice
2 Tab lemon juices
2 cups coarsely grated carrots
1.Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
2.Add remaining ingredients.
3.Chill until thickened, then stir and pour into 6-cup mold or 10 to 12 individual molds.
4.Serve with crisp greens and mayonnaise.
Makes 10 to 12 servings.
