Juicer Dry Pulp
Juicer Dry Pulp
Fresh fruit as a face mask?

I recently bought a fruit juicer and have been throwing away the fruit pulp. Someone told me that I can apply some of the pulp along with a little olive oil and honey on my face and let it dry. I'm afraid that the acids may dry my skin even more. I usually use apples, carrots, pears, kiwi and organges. Does anyone have any idea if this would be good for me?

If you mix the paste with plain yogurt or an egg yolk you will get some moisturizing effects ...or some oil.

Has anyone tried putting pulp from their juicer in a food dehydrator?

I am new to juicing and so far I love it! The juicing part is easy but there's got to be more to do with the fruit pulp. I heard on a podcast once that you can form the pulp into patties and put them in a dehydrator to make little dried fruit snacks but now I can't remember which cast I was listening to. Any ideas?

Never have attempted such. But as the other person pointed out, if the juicer is working properly, there is not going to be much nutritional value to it, some, but not as much as if it hadn't been juiced.

I have used the left over pulp at times when making spring rolls. But normally, I just toss it into the compost pile.
