Reset button on outlet keeps popping out when I use an electric juicer?

I bought this GE electric citrus juicer at Wal-Mart a few days ago...I plugged it in shortly after purchasing it and started juicing...after 1 lemon it just stopped working. I thought it broke but then figured out that the reset button on my outlet had popped out.

I have noticed these buttons before, but have never seen one of them actually pop out so that I have to press it. Why did that happen? Is the juicer putting too much of an input load on the outlet? Trying to draw too much current?

So now when I use it, I can usually juice 1 or 2 lemons, then have to press the reset button, then do another, press the reset button, and so on. It's a bit tedious but it works. Is this unsafe?
I've used two different outlets, both with the reset button on it, and it's happened on both of them. They work fine for other appliances, so it's definitely not the outlets. I may return the juicer if it may cause a hazard.

The reset button can be found on any outlet (in a modern house) that's near a water source like a sink or bath. It's called a GCFI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter), and a technical description can be found here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_fault_circuit_interrupter

Basically, this outlet senses if some current is "leaking" from the appliance to an earth ground, rather than through the return contact of the mains voltage. The usual reason for this leakage to an earth ground is if you drop the appliance into a sink full of water, or if you get your hand caught in it and the current is going through your body (and killing you), which pops the breaker. Since neither of these is true, there's a fault somewhere.

It could also be that the juicer's internal wiring is faulty, or the outlet is faulty. If you can plug other appliances into the outlet OK, then it's got to be the juicer. I know that it seems to be working OK, but if you have to keep resetting that breaker, then there's a major problem waiting to happen. I'd return it.

What desserts can I make with what I have?

I feel like baking something sweet, but SIMPLE! I have:
- flour
- eggs
- baking powder
- baking soda
- salt
- chocolate cocoa
- vanilla extract
- some milk chocolate chips
- dark brown sugar
- 3/4 C. light brown sugar
- white granulated sugar
- powdered sugar
- 1(14 ounce can) Condensed Milk
- vegetable oil
- butter
- cinnamon
- peanut butter
- light white corn syrup(Karo)
- colored sprinkles
- root beer
- homemade vanilla icecream
- whole milk
- cornstarch
- yeast
- lemons

Supplies I have:
- grater
- ice cream machine
- thermometer
- whisk
- Electric Stand Mixer
- muffin tins
- 13 by 9 baking pan
- spatula
- juicer

Chocolate Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly butter, or line 16 muffin cups with paper liners.

In a small bowl stir until smooth the boiling hot water and the cocoa powder. Let cool to room temperature.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Then in the bowl of your electric mixer, or with a hand mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth. Beat in the vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture and beat only until incorporated. Then add the cooled cocoa mixture and stir until smooth.

Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full with batter and bake for about 16-20 minutes or until risen, springy to the touch, and a toothpick inserted into a cupcake comes out clean. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool. Once the cupcakes have completely cooled, frost with icing. You can either spread the frosting on the cupcakes with a small spatula or if piping, using a large Wilton 1M open star tip to make lovely swirls.

Chocolate Frosting: Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.

In the bowl of your electric mixer, or with a hand mixer, beat the butter until smooth and creamy (about 1 minute). Add the sugar and beat until it is light and fluffy (about 2 minutes). Beat in the vanilla extract. Add the chocolate and beat on low speed until incorporated. Increase the speed to medium-high and beat until frosting is smooth and glossy (about 2 -3 minutes).

Makes about 16 cupcakes
