Yeah, I think so. There are a few battle scars that have shown up after about 6 straight weeks of use. For instance, the hot air actually gets too hot for the plastic cover. It's best to leave off the plastic cup, that is used for measuring the popcorn and melting the butter. Maybe it's best for me to post pictures of the various battle scars. But even with the battle scars, I would still recommend the Nostalgia Electrics Hot Air Popper. It's only $40. In the process you really get a good introduction to coffee roasting. Let me know what you decide.
Otherwise you can buy a West Bend Poppery Popper off of eBay. That popcorn popper has quite a bit of info on the web.
