Single Juicer
I'm getting worked up about my 20 week scan tomorrow....?
I've just read up on all the things they check for and I'm now so worried they'll find something wrong with my baby! I thought I'd got over all this worrying but obviously not. Is it normal to get worried about this scan? Also, I feel guilty sometimes over my food, I take my vitamins every single morning and try to eat good things in the day, I always eat fruit and veg but sometimes don't think I get enough of it, but I also eat things that maybe I shouldn't like crisps, sweets, ready made stuff and then I feel really guilty - could this food harm my baby? I've stayed clear almost entirely of carbonated drinks and tend to drink fruit juices or orange and water and I also have a juicer where I make my own once a week, but I do tend to eat some stuff which I shouldn't too. What do you think?
The most important thing is - stop worrying!!! That will effect your baby more than anything!
You sound like you're doing great with the eating thing and, to be honest, the odd crisps or ready made food is fine. At the end of the day, your baby will take what it needs from you to be healthy, the other stuff is so that YOUR body doesn't miss out. Yes, if you were sitting there eating nothing but high fat foods full of junk, it's not the wisest move, but the very fact that you're worried about it, means that you're doing the best you can and, quite frankly, it sounds like it's good enough to me. Lets face it, there are mums out there who eat nothing but chocolate and chips, drink fizzy and caffine-filled drinks and smoke throughout their pregnancy and still give birth to healthy babies (and yes, to all those reading this, I know there's obesity and small baby issues with my above statement, but they survive, is my point!!!!). The difference is once they're born - and by the sound of it you are going to be balanced and caring mother who does the very best for her child. Well done you!!!!!!!!!
As for the scan. Sit back, relax and watch the screen. It's the most amazing thing ever! Order photos, the DVD and anything else you can so you can share it afterwards with as many people as possible - because you'll want to show the whole world.
Yes, there are some things that they check for, which aren't very nice to have to think about, but the risks in modern medicine are very small. Even if they do ask you to then see a consultant, my friend does the scans in Manchester and says that, of all the referrals she has to do, they are just double checking because they have to, and the vast majority of things are already known to be nothing serious, it's just procedure (which doesn't help the mum whose sitting there stressing!).
Essentially, the likelihood of there being a problem is really slight. Even if you are referred, the likelihood of it then being serious is even more remote, and actually, what will probably happen tomorrow is you'll laugh, cry and do all of those emotional things that pregnant women do, but you'll love every minute of it.

can i work out every single day or should i take a break?
i work out everday (weight lifting/strength training) can i do this everyday ? or will my heart explode and kille me? =(
i also want to look into muscle enhancers i lookin to become a full on juicer!! anyone know were i can get some legal ones?
You should workout 5 days a week and leave 2 days for rest a week. Your muscles need to to restore and recover. If you haven't already get a gainer like cytogainer, monstermilk, or mass XXX. Also get some creatine that should pack on some extra mass to. As for juicing... I'm caught in between. Some people feel side effects others don't it really depends on the person but it can cause more harm than help depending on how old you are. If you are under 26 i wouldn't use steroids because your body already has more testosterone that it knows what to do with so there is really no reason for it. Have a good one and lift hard!
