Two Speed Can I use my high speed modem on two different computers?
I'm trying to get a temporary fix to having internet in two rooms until I get a wireless router. With my old analog modem I could just disconnect from one computer and connect it to the other and all would be fine. Now that I got high speed, I can't do that. Is there any way to do this until I get some extra money to buy a router? Or am I just doing something wrong?
I am running two computers right now on the same modem. I do, however have the one that's on my work bench plugged into a ethernet port on the back of my router. So I guess you got ot have a router.

How can I calculate the angle in which I should launch a projectile at a fixed initial speed given two points?
I need a formula that gives me the angle having two points on the screen. Gravity is 9,8 and the initial speed is fixed.
Thanks
let origin be at start point, and 2 points on parabolic path be (m, n) and (r, s) {these can be 2 walls which projectile needs to scale] let p = angle of projection and u initial speed
equation of projectile (achieved be eliminating time t)
y = x tan p - (0.5 g x^2)/u^2 cos^2 p or
y (u^2 cos^2 p)= x u^2 sin p cos p - 0.5 g x^2 ----(1)
2 points will satisfy (1)
n (u^2 cos^2 p)= m u^2 sin p cos p - 0.5 g m^2
s (u^2 cos^2 p)= r u^2 sin p cos p - 0.5 g r^2
(u^2 cos^2 p)= (m/n) u^2 sin p cos p - 0.5 g (m^2/n)
(u^2 cos^2 p)= (r/s) u^2 sin p cos p - 0.5 g (r^2/s) equate
(m/n) u^2 sin p cos p - 0.5 g (m^2/n) = (r/s) u^2 sin p cos p - 0.5 g (r^2/s)
u^2 sin p cos p [m/n – r/s] = 0.5 g [m^2/n - r^2/s]
2 u^2 sin p cos p [m*s – r*n] = g [m^2*s - r^2*n]
sin (2p) = g [m^2*s - r^2*n] / u^2 [m*s – r*n]
Funnily enough David Milliband did suggest something similar today. I was pleased he argued against a two-speed Europe. Bar your use of the term integration I'd broadly agree with you. Particularly about a fairly malign Franco German dynamic. Whatever happens re relooking at, renegotiating, replacing Lisbon, I fear that any effort to do any more than that to the EU within say 10 years min is profoundly wrong and will be extremely counterproductive.
